A Death from Natural Causes At Home
 
If the death occurs at home, the first phone call should be to your family Doctor. Your doctor will certify
the death and issue necessary certificates. After the Doctor has certified the death, contact our Funeral Director at San Diego Funeral Service 888 838 1730 to arrange the transfer of the deceased to their facilities and to carry out the funeral arrangements.


Nursing Home or Hospital
 If the death occurs at a Nursing Home or Hospital, the staff at the facility will contact a Doctor to certify
the death and issue necessary certificates. A member of the family only needs to contact our Funeral

A Death from Non-Natural Causes
 
All deaths as a result of an accident or foul play must be reported to the police who will then refer the matter to the Coroner. If the death is reported to a Coroner, contact our Funeral Director at San Diego Funeral Service 888 838 1730 who will liaise with the Coroner's Department on your behalf.
